With Castify, users can cast web videos found online from various websites and stream local files from their phone to Chromecast, Xbox, Apple TV, or other compatible devices. The app also features a video search function and a pop-up blocker.

It's important to note that Castify works best with Google Chromecast and Google Cast receivers. While it may have limited functionalities with other casting receivers, it is not a phone screen mirroring or sharing app.

To use Castify, follow these steps:

1. Use the app's browser to navigate to a website.
2. The browser will attempt to find any playable video, movies, or music on the site.

If you have a Smart TV with the Google Chromecast app (or DLNA) built-in, please check if it has one of the streaming receivers mentioned above to determine if it is compatible with Castify.

Castify does not modify, download, or transcode the video sources. It only sends the original source to your streaming receivers. The app does not host any content, and therefore, the compatibility and availability of the videos are dependent on the source websites themselves.

It's important to highlight that this app only casts from websites that use public formats. Proprietary video and movie formats will not cast to TV.

If you encounter any issues such as videos not playing or disconnections, it could be due to various reasons:

1. The Internet Service Provider (ISP)
2. The source website itself
3. Insufficient Wi-Fi signal strength

Troubleshooting Tips:

• Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable and on the same network. Streaming online movies to TV requires a good internet connection.
• Most connection problems can be resolved by restarting the casting receivers or your phone.
• Flash movie websites are not supported by streaming device manufacturers.
